Your local friend on Lake Como
Lake Como welcomes more than five million visitors a year, and 86% of them come from abroad. Most spend hours comparing tour websites where the price is always “on request”. We built Lago di Como Experiences to fix exactly that.
We are a small, independent booking concierge based on the lake. We do not own boats and we do not run tours — instead, we spend the season on the water testing skippers, tasting with chefs and riding with guides, and we keep a short list of the ones we would send our own families to. When you message us, we match you with the right one, agree the price up front, and you pay the operator directly on the day. Our service is free for travellers.
Everything on this site follows three rules. First, real prices: the ranges you see are the actual 2026 rates of our partner operators, updated every season. Second, one channel: WhatsApp only, because it is how everyone on the lake actually works — you get a named person, a clear quote and a confirmed pier within minutes. Third, no filler: we only list experiences we have tried ourselves, from the €285 one-hour private tour to the Riva you have seen in the films.
The season runs from April to October, with July and August fully booked weeks in advance and September — warm water, softer light, fewer crowds — widely considered the best month of all. Whatever you are planning, tell us your dates and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Is Lago di Como Experiences a tour operator?
No. We are an independent concierge: we select and vet local skippers, chefs and guides, publish their real prices, and match you with the right one. Your booking and payment are always directly with the operator — we simply make sure you get the good one at the honest price.
How does booking work?
Tap the WhatsApp button on any page, tell us your dates, group size and where you are staying. We reply in minutes with availability and an exact quote. Once you confirm, the operator reserves your slot and you pay them directly — no deposits to us, no forms, no accounts.
Do you charge travellers anything?
No. Our matching service is completely free for you. We are paid a referral commission by the operators, which does not change the price you pay — you get the same rate as booking direct, plus our vetting and advice.
When is the best time of year for Lake Como experiences?
The season runs from April to October. July and August are spectacular but busy — book 2–4 weeks ahead. September is our favourite month: full services, warm water and around 40% fewer people. From November to March most boat tours and experiences pause.
Can you organise something at the last minute?
Often, yes. Outside peak weekends we can frequently confirm a boat within 24–48 hours, sometimes the same day. In July and August last-minute availability is rare, so message us as early as you can.
